My World of Parkinsonian Delights

Behold the Burrowing Shepherd

Most dogs are happy to just go into your bedroom and fall asleep on the padded comfort of a mattress.

Witness “the Burrowing Shepherd.”

The Burrowing Shepherd is NOT satisfied to just lie atop the bedclothes.  No, the Burrowing Shepherd must REARRANGE the bed sheets so she can crawl UNDER them and HIDE her pretty little HEAD so no one can SEE her.

There’s no way to tell if you have a Burrowing Shepherd in your bed.  My advice… beat the bed with a broomstick before you get into it.  That generally clears ’em out.  🙂

We used to have a Dalmation that would bury himself under the covers even in the summer when it was really warm out

    • Dalmations are easier to spot. Get it? Dalmation? Spot?

My dog Bob hates to be under the covers… but he MUST be in the absolute center of the bed. And the cats need the pillows next to my head.
